Our HSA

We have a very special school community filled with talented students and staff and amazing parents! Below you will find some information on our HSA.

HSA stands for Home and School Association and it is our elementary school’s “PTO”. It is comprised of and run by parent volunteers. The HSA supports our EGE students and school staff and assists in efforts to solve school needs through volunteering and fundraising. Our primary objective as an HSA is to help to provide our school with funds, programs, resources, and services that will enrich and maximize the education of every student and support our teachers. To meet this important objective, we fundraise.

The HSA offers many ways for families to be involved at the school. Every parent at EGE is automatically an HSA member and there are no membership dues.

The HSA is run by an Executive Board comprising of two Co-Presidents, a Treasurer, a Recording Secretary, a Corresponding Secretary, and a Parliamentarian. The Executive Board works with the Principal, Mr. Seidenberger and our dedicated parent volunteers and staff. The HSA meets five times per year to discuss and vote on important issues.

There are a multitude of committees and events that the HSA supports, and we hope you are able to get involved. Here are a few ways to help even before your child starts at the school! You can also check out our website to familiarize yourself with events.

The HSA is a busy group. We are always looking for new or fresh ideas and hope you will consider lending whatever time you can spare to help us achieve our objectives.
